Did you know there was a preadamite world? Well, whether you believe it or not, the bible speaks of this world specifically. Check it out:
2 Peter 3:5 tells us the story. For this they are willingly ignorant of that the heavens were of old, and the earth first standing out of the water and then in the water:
First, we're informed straight up that we are ignorant for not knowing about the preadamite world. You just read scripture for yourself. And the scriptures go on to explain in verse 6: the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. That world, the first social system or preadamite world, inhibited by both the human and animal kingdom perished in the first or original flood. We know that nothing survived because Jeremiah 4:23-26 says that the earth was completely destroyed of all mankind and of all animals and of all fruitful places. Verse 7 then says BUT, the heavens and earth which are now, are kept in store, reserved for fire on the day of judgement.
You see, after God created the second social system, (us) it too became corrupted, only this time He did not wish to destroy it completely because of one man in particular - Noah. God chose to spare Noah, his family, and the animal kingdom but destroyed all else in the second flood. God also made a promise to Noah at that time that He would never again flood the earth by way of punishment and created the rainbow as a reminder of that promise. (Notice each time it rains we see the rainbow.) Let's go now to Genesis and see how this whole thing pans out from the beginning until now.
Gen.1:1- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (the world that then was, the preadamite world, perfect and inhibited.) During this time Lucifer rebels against God and is cast down to earth where he is told that he will remain until a specific appointed time. Shortly thereafter, the first social system becomes corrupted because of him and perishes in the first flood. Lucifer himself does not perish from the earth.
Since the first world and its judgment have nothing to do with us, we are given no other information about it. The only reason Genesis 1:1 is written is to inform us of one thing only - and that's of who's in charge. IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED... Period.
Now that we know who the Boss is, scripture then takes us to Gensis 1:2 where God moves over the face of the waters after the first flood which destroyed the preadamite world. And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said. . . . Here follow the seven days starting the creation of the second social system (us) and henceforth where God directs both Adam and Eve to "replenish" the earth.
But, alas, here comes that old serpent again. . . .
