While there are a handful of decent, unbiased book reviewers available for independent works, such book reviewers are in high demand and their waiting lists can easily run six to eight months or longer. A multitude of books simply do not get read at all, and the excited author is left waiting for a book review that will never come.

To counter attack the "book review overload" today more book reviewers are implementing what is known as expedited book review services. This simply means that for a price all books are guaranteed a review in reasonable time. **Careful... authors often unknowingly pay good money to biased book reviewers who purposely bash their hard work and degrade their writing skills. As for the more reputable book reviewers, they are charging up to $400.00 per book, per review. Ouch!

**Kirkus, for example, charges $350.00 per book review with a turnaround time of 8 to 10 weeks. Foreword Magazine charges $295.00 plus an additional $25.00 fee for a book review website posting.

With thousands of new authors on the rise, Covenant Signature Publishing agrees that expedited book review services are now mandatory, but we do not agree with such pricing.

Because we truly wish to help self-published authors get the proper book reviews they deserve and at the right prices, CSP has joined forces with the Independent Book Reviewer Alliance. The Alliance is dedicated solely to independent works and is made up of a team of literary professionals who are governed by a strict guideline that each book reviewer must follow.

A large part of book reviews are based on the opinion of the book reviewer. If the book is not the reviewer's "cup of tea", despite the fact that it meets with industry standards, the chances of receiving a less-favorable review are increased.

Book reviews by the Independent Book Reviewer Alliance are not based on the opinions of the book reviewers but rather on a perfect 5-Star System which focuses on the book's clarity, layout, purpose, and more. And book reviews are returned within two to three weeks!
**Do not misunderstand!** Our expedited review services do not guarantee favorable reviews. This 5-Star System is based on industry standards, and any book that does not meet these standards will not pull a favorable review.

Authors may contact each book reviewer in the Alliance directly and request a book review. Book reviews are only $125.00 and can be purchased via secure, online transaction at each book reviewer's book page. Checks and money orders are also accepted.
**Note** Multiple book reviews from the Alliance Book Reviewers are available for only $80.00 per review, provided at least four book reviews are requested at once. After all, multiple, favorable reviews are needed for serious media attention, and there are no better book reviewers to trust your works to than the Independent Book Reviewer Alliance.
