My name is Eric Martin and I am chief independent book reviewer for 1st-Fantasy Book Reviews. I specialize in independent fantasy book reviews and independent science-fiction book reviews. As a geek, I feel it’s important to stick with what you know.

I am also an associate, independent book reviewer for Covenant Review Corner.

First and foremost, I am an independent Christian book reviewer. Among my chief interests are video games, cooking, pennywhistle playing, writing, reading and Medieval recreational activities. I have been the chief book reviewer for 1st-Fantasy for two and a half years.

I enjoy independent book reviewing for independent authors because they don't seem to stand much of a chance against the prejudices of the "big dog" book industry.
